"After receiving this book less than twenty-four hours ago, I flew through it.
Lydia has woven together an intricate world with intriguingly diverse cultures, traditions, and traits. (I was smitten with Lydia's descriptions of the individual realms and their tools.) From the beginning of the story, I was fascinated by the whole plot. I couldn't wait to see who would be the other six rulers, and who Athelia would form relationships, positive or negative, with.
Throughout the story, Lydia manages to keep you on the edge of your seat. There was a lot more action than I anticipated, but it was all cleverly written and fit with the story well. Additionally, the characters' interaction really made the story great. I loved watching my favorite characters bicker and struggle with their obstacles. Well done.
The only drawback I found was a slight confusion in the first couple chapters. It took me a little while to connect who was related with who and how they spoke, but once I had that figured out it was easy to get into the story.
All in all, I LOVED it.
(I want to personally thank the author for resolving the story in the end. It didn't end in a massive cliff-hanger, which would've left me in agony. That doesn't put a damper on my eagerness to read the next installment, though! Yayyy! Publish it soon, okayy?)

I have so many people to thank and I don't really know where to begin! It has been an amazing, tiring, awesome, stressful, and beautiful week. For one thing, the hard copy of "The Seven Thrones" is now out! (I will include a button to take you over there) I have eleven reviews up on Amazon right now and they're all wonderful and positive! They've been driving me on through NaNoWriMo which I will tell you about later on in the post.
I have also had a review on this blog: http://authorstalkerchelle.blogspot.com/2014/11/lydia-petersens-debut-novel-is-just-her.html
This was so amazing to read! This wonderful lady taking the time to do this really means the world to me. It's people like this who make me happy I'm a writer. It was definitely the bright side of my day! Check out her blog and discover other novels that you may not have heard of!
NaNoWriMo=exhaustion. I am quite tired, but this has really pushed me to get a good way into the sequel to "The Seven Thrones" and watching that word count grow makes me want to push forward and continue on. Prayer for me to not be so stressed out would be greatly appreciated however. =)
Please check out "The Seven Thrones" and leave a review. I would LOVE to hear what YOU have to say!
Until next time!
